Each festival features fine artists and craftspersons, musical entertainment, food, and special art and craft events for children. Both shows will be held rain or shine in Main Street Park, Rutland, Vermont.

Summer Events | Vermont History Expo

The Vermont Historical Society Annual Expo at the Tumbridge Fair grounds in Central Vermont is listed by the state as one of its 10 top attractions. The event is held in late June and attracts almost all the state's local historical societies. There are usually at least 100 exhibits ranging from period folk music to booths where you can look up your family history.

Windsor Heritage Days celebrates the town of Windsor as the "Birthplace of Vermont," where the State''s first Constitution was first drafted and ratified, and where the Republic of Vermont was created on July 8, 1777.

Summer Events | Strolling of the Heifers Parade

The fifth annual Strolling of the Heifers Parade and Festival will take place in Brattleboro, Vermont, Thursday, June 1 Sunday, June 4, 2006. The event has been named one of the Green Mountain State's "Top Ten Summer Events" for the fourth year in a row by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. Last year the Strolling of the Heifers Parade was attended by over 40,000 spectators. It also attracted international media attention that reached over 75 million people.

Summer Events | Discover Jazz Festival

In 1984 the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival gave Vermont's flourishing jazz community the recognition it deserved a week-long celebration combining incredible local talent with jazz legends from every corner of the globe. The generous support of the business community and private donations have allowed The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, in association with Burlington City Arts, to create what is today the largest multi-cultural event in Vermont. In 2003, the Festival celebrated its 20th Anniversary and ushered in its third decade of bringing America's truly home-grown art form to the beautiful venue that is Burlington, Vermont.
